Product reviews

The use of a Lifting Bridle is recommended in most lifting operations.  It is designed to be attached to the D-Rings on the mid sternum as well as the D ring located behind the patient’s head.  The leg support strap allows for stabilization of the patient without the need for a full litter.  Note the leg support strap is not designed for full body weight, only the positioning and support of the victims legs while in the Spec Pak.

Each of the three cam buckles are rated to 6kn in a straight pull configuration and the orange backup strap is rated to 22kn.  Use the cam buckles to adjust the orientation of the patient while in transport from horizontal to near vertical.

Solely using the upper D ring attachment should only be used for short durations, ideally 5 minutes or less.  Exceeding this is uncomfortable for the patient and increases the likelihood of suspension trauma.
