The MAGNA LH02510 1/4 Ton Lever Hoist with 10-foot lift expands the versatility of the "mini" hoist series. By doubling the standard lift length to 10 feet, this unit becomes an exceptional tool for overhead work, allowing technicians to pull cables or position fixtures from ground level or lower platforms. Despite the extra chain, the unit remains incredibly lightweight (approximately 7 lbs), preserving the portability that defines the 1/4-ton class. It features the same rugged steel construction, Grade 80 load chain, and -45°C cold-weather grease as the standard model.
This hoist is particularly popular among electricians and fencing contractors who require a long reach for tensioning but do not want to lug a heavy standard hoist up a ladder. The single-hand free-chaining mechanism allows the operator to quickly pay out the full 10 feet of chain to hook up the load. Safety is assured with a 150% proof load test and a Weston-style load brake that holds tension indefinitely.
