Introducing the Vault-Key. This tool is a solution to a common problem encountered in the field. It offers a secure method of opening underground vaults and pedestal lids with its laser-cut 3/8" steel construction and Hi-Viz orange powder coating. The Vault-Key enables us to attach shackles, hooks, and slings to heavy concrete lids for easier lifting and rigging. Say goodbye to makeshift tie wires and struggling with pliers. Field testing shows that linemen are more likely to move lids further away from open vaults while using the Vault-Key, eliminating the risk of tripping, especially during nighttime operations. This American-made tool is compact yet strong enough to hook onto a digger truck.
